As CeramicsJourney is currently a one-woman studio and every piece is handmade, I offer custom orders in small batches of 10 to 100 pieces. For larger orders, I always create a prototype first to make sure everything feels right before moving forward.
You can visit me in person at my upcoming markets,(/book-buy) which are always listed on the Home page. At the moment, I don’t have an online shop. If you’re interested in a specific piece, feel free to write me and we’ll figure something out together.
Yes, depending on capacity, I’m often able to fire ceramic pieces for others.
• Bisque firing (1st firing): 950 °C — 8 € / kg
• Glaze firing (2nd firing): up to 1240 °C — price depends on size and load
If you’re interested, please email me at ceramicsjourney@gmail.com (mailto:ceramicsjourney@gmail.com)and include the following information:
• The type of clay you’re using (brand and firing range, or a photo of the packaging)
• The glazes you’re using (same details as the clay, or a photo)
• The number of pieces and their approximate size
• I’ll get back to you to confirm availability and details.
Ceramics is unpredictable, and cracks or breakage can happen during firing. While I handle all pieces with care, I can’t guarantee results, especially when firing work made outside my studio. I’ll always communicate openly if something happens.
My studio is located in Sankt Augustin, Germany. At the moment, I don’t have a shop or regular visiting hours, as it’s a small working studio. If you’d like to visit as part of a workshop, feel free to reach out via ceramicsjourney@gmail.com,(mailto:ceramicsjourney@gmail.com) and we can see what’s possible.
Yes. If your style, product, or brand aligns with CeramicsJourney, I’d love to talk about a collaboration. Feel free to share your idea via ceramicsjourney@gmail.com (mailto:ceramicsjourney@gmail.com)or the contact form, and we can explore a potential collaboration together.
Yes. My functional ceramic pieces are food-safe and are high-fired for everyday use. All glazes I use on functional ware are tested and comply with EU regulations for food contact materials. For more information click here. For longevity, gentle hand washing is recommended.
